The room was clean with smoke detectors for safety measures, and a fireplace, central heating, and an iron and ironing board. Overlooked garden. Location: the hotel was short walk to the Botanical gardens, Edinburgh, and a smart residential area. Popped in Hampton property for shots before sleep, it was a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.

The accommodation was amazing! We had a spacious suite with a bedroom, bathroom, and living room. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. They even cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning, and always had tea and biscuits ready for us. The house was beautifully decorated with attention to detail, and the location was perfect for exploring the city and surrounding areas. And the best part? Free parking! We couldn't have asked for a better stay.
While everything was perfect, there were a few things that could have made our stay even more enjoyable. It would have been nice to have a tea tray in the room, so we could have our favorite hot beverage first thing in the morning.

The value for money at the Cairn Residence was outstanding. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a separate living room that was a great bonus. The location was fantastic, with a pleasant walk or easy bus ride into the city center. The hosts, Sandy and Marie, were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
The only slight drawback was the breakfast selection could have been improved by offering a wider variety of options.

The location was absolutely fantastic, just a short stroll away from Edinburgh Zoo and two major art galleries. But what really amazed me was the garden at the property. It was like stepping into a magical oasis right in the heart of the city. I spent hours there, feeling as if I had been transported to a fairytale land.
No kettle in the room.
